The Venice Glass Week has just ended and we still think about all the amazing people we have met thanks to the second edition of this successful festival of glass.
We have been part of it with a week of free lampwork workshops dedicated to families with children 6-18yrs.
All has came to play with me to discover the basics, history and a lot of curiosities about this facinating technique and this unique material.
The aim of the workshops was to let parents and children live a unique experience that hopefully they will remember for years and also for them to have a first glimpse to one of the many techniques you can use to work with glass.
And maybe one day they will decide to be artists, technicians, passionates, and to dedicate their talent to the continuation of this beautiful art.
